Avens One Privacy Notice
Updated 29 October 2026. This notice covers Avens One, the employee app operated by AL KHOBAR LOUNGE RESTAURANTS LLC, trading as AVENS. It is separate from the AVENS Rewards customer app.
Information used
The app and connected Workplace services use employee identity and contact details, sign-in provider identifiers, employment and leave records, attendance records, payroll information, expense and HR requests, submitted attachments, workplace messages and read timestamps. Attachments can contain sensitive information, such as health or family documents, depending on what you submit.
A location reading, its time and accuracy are checked when you record attendance. During clocked-in work hours, the app may share your location for attendance and work coordination, with your permission. Sharing stops when you clock out or your configured shift ends. This may include updates while the app is in the background. The feature retains only the latest work-hours point and its timestamp, without a route history or an offline position queue. A notification device token is used when notifications are enabled. Your optional chosen profile photo or avatar may be stored with your employee account so it can appear when you sign in again or use another authorised device.
Purpose and access
Information supports employee access, attendance validation, HR and expense workflows, payroll visibility, company communications, security and audit records. Access depends on the employee role and the workplace process. Information is handled by authorised AVENS personnel and necessary technology service providers, including Google Firebase and Google Cloud, Apple and Google sign-in, and the hosting provider for Workplace.
The app does not receive your Apple or Google password. Staff-only access is checked on the server. Private messages are available to their participants according to workplace permissions.
Your choices
Your phone controls location and notification permissions. Location is required to validate location-based attendance actions. Eligible staff can choose whether to allow background work-hours location sharing and can change that permission in phone Settings. This background permission is separate from ordinary attendance location access. Notifications are requested during setup and can be declined or changed in Settings. Demo examples are fictional, stored locally and do not submit employee records to Workplace.
Retention and requests
Retention depends on employment, payroll, claims, legal and audit requirements. Contact AVENS HR for the period that applies to a particular record. You can request information, access, correction, removal of app access or deletion through HR or hello@avens.com.sa. AVENS may verify your identity and explain where employment or other obligations require a record to be retained.
